In 2018, 21 Days of Love focused on Chester, Pennsylvania , and supported the city’s social services organizations. The team raised awareness and garnered support from individuals and organizations in the Delaware Valley and beyond. All donations collected were distributed to people experiencing hardship and homelessness. 21 Days of Love partnered with many organizations including CityTeam, Wesley House & The Family Management Center.
On Christmas morning, 21 Days of Love partnered with Teasing Your Tastebuds Catering to serve food and distribute love packages of personal care items and cold-weather gear at the Chester Transportation Center. Getting out into the community and engaging with people one on one was such a filling experience. This also amplified the truth that experiencing homelessness, whether temporary or chronic, is only one part of someone’s identity. Not only was there love to be given, but as we laughed, joked and danced, the team received that same love and joy.
